Machine & Packing Operators Wanted in Wiri

Our client based in Manukau is an internationally well-known brand that has produced countless household iconic food products such as Nestle, Maggi, Docello and much more They have had an increase in production volumes recently and as a result require certain roles to be filled. They are currently in need of manufacturing and packing operators. These are permanent roles in which you will work closely with the client to ensure food and culinary products are produced to the highest standards ready for consumers.

They are currently in need of manufacturing and packing operators. These are permanent roles in which you will work closely with the client to ensure food and culinary products are produced to the highest standards ready for consumers.

Both roles offer different available shift times for flexibility to revolve around your lifestyle:

- **Afternoon Shift: 3:55pm - 11:55pm**:

- **Night Shift: 11:45pm - 7:45am**

**For the Manufacturing Operator,**

Your role will include:

- Staying active on the job with an element of lifting involved for up to 25kg.
- Handling of bulk and raw ingredients for the creation and mixing of incredible food products
- The use of RF scanners to ensure real time data is collected and stored in the managing systems.
- Operating mixers, mills and hanging big bags (with the use of a lifting aids) to ensure that food production runs smoothly.

**For the Packing Operator**:
Your role will include:

- Operating packing lines in which the food products are packed correctly and ready to be sent off to our customers
- Performing quality checks to ensure that any products sent out are in tip-top condition
- Manual packing/stacking of bulk stocks for the inventory at hand.

**To be successful in these roles**:

- Basic computer knowledge (For systems as such)
- A strong focus on Health & Safety (H&S) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Adhering to standards and qualities in order to meet the clients needs
- Great communication skills to ensure an open line of contact and smooth interactions.
- Reliable and trustworthy
- An outstanding attitude and a willingness to learn and develop in your role.
- Manufacturing Experience advantageous but not and essential
