**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**
Tauranga Hospital is seeking a Vascular Surgeon as an addition to the current team, serving a population of 260,000 across the Bay of Plenty. The service is well supported with Interventional Radiology, Allied Health, Clinical Nurse Specialist, and a newly established Renal service. The Vascular team provide outreach clinics in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
This position could suit either a recently trained Vascular and Endovascular specialist or conversely a senior Vascular Surgeon with extensive open surgical experience.
Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty hosts medical students from the University of Auckland. You will enjoy the benefits of teaching and supervising year 5 and 6 medical students, while having access to the University's up to date resources.
Applications are invited from qualified practitioners holding a FRACS Vascular qualification or equivalent that meet the criteria for vocational registration or eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
