Are you an experienced administrator with a strong technical acumen? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and collaboration are key?

We're looking for a Technical Administrator to provide essential support to our Utilities and Roading Department at Waimakariri District Council. This role ensures the smooth execution of key Council processes, including development contributions, development bonds, and contract administration.

**What you'll do**:

- Complete Development Contribution assessments, ensuring compliance with the Development Contribution Policy and delivery within timeframes.
- Collaborate across Council teams, fostering strong working relationships.
- Deliver efficient and timely technical and administrative support across the department.
- Manage critical Council processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Oversee contract administration, ensuring clear documentation and smooth workflows.
- Support Quality Assurance/Quality Control initiatives, contributing to best practices.

**What you'll bring**:

- Proven experience in administrative roles with a technical focus.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration and / or Council processes.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with structured processes, has a technical mindset, and is comfortable working with spreadsheets and calculations. This is a full-time permanent role of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
