**He kupu mō mātou | About us**

Established in 1976, our Pahiatua site specialises in producing whole milk powder that is exported to markets around the world. The latest expansion in 2015 saw the site add a new 15 metric tonne dryer, as well as a new waste water treatment plant. Our site has the lowest water to milk ratio of any site in the country.

**Mō tēnei tūranga | About the opportunity**

Our Pahiatua site specialises in producing whole milk powder that is exported to markets around the world. During peak milking season, Pahiatua processes up to 4 million litres of milk every day.

We have an opportunity for a Packing Operator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are someone who is serious about their career and keen to be part of a highly motivated and supportive team.

As a Packing Operator, your key responsibilities will be:

- Setting up, monitoring and operating automated production machinery.
- Performing quality checks to ensure our product meets world class standards.
- Running machine diagnostics and problem solving.

**This is a full-time permanent role.**Hours of work are on a rotating shift roster - four on (two days 0512 - 1730, two nights 1712 - 0530) and four off.

**Mōu | About you**

Your strong mechanical aptitude, planning and sound problem-solving skills will ensure things run smoothly - as you won't just identify the problem, you'll be part of finding and implementing the solution. Together with good work ethic you'll be able to demonstrate a background of:

- Participating and contributing to a high performing team.
- Operation of touch screen machinery.
- Strong focus on health and safety.
- Working in an environment where you need to be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kgs.
- **Class 1 and Forklift License and OSH Certificate.**:

- Positive attitude and team player.
