**About the opportunity**:
Our client has a great opportunity for a Joiner. They are looking for someone who takes pride in the quality of their work to join their excellent team who are passionate about kitchens and producing exceptional product and service for their clients.
**Role description**:
As a Joiner you will support the Operations Manager and Factory Foreman with all aspects of factory related joinery work. You will be punctual, follow instructions and communicate clearly at all times. Part of this position is to deal politely and efficiently with staff matters and issues, referring to management in a timely manner when required.
**Responsibilities will include**:

- Work with machines in the workshop
- Assist with deliveries and remedials as required
- Achieve required daily workloads
- Ensure work area is kept clean and tidy at all times, especially around the machinery
- General factory and assembly work as required
- Ensure that all occupational health and safety processes are observed and followed at all times to create and maintain a safe working environment

**This role will suit someone with the following background / experience / qualities**:

- Possess modern joinery and cabinetry product and construction knowledge
- Skillful and conversant with hand and power tools and workshop machinery
- Ample knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance
- Good understanding of house building / construction for kitchen installations
- Good attitude, with good timekeeping, great work ethic and communication skills

Our client is locally owned and has been servicing the Waikato and beyond, for over 50 years. They have 29 locations throughout New Zealand where they create bespoke kitchens from design, to manufacturing and finally the installation process.
