We are seeking registered nurses with operating theatre experience who are enthusiastic and passionate about delivering quality patient care. We need people who can build and develop responsive and highly agile teams.

The theatre suite is an active and dynamic work environment therefore, adaptability, creativity and drive to perform is crucial.

Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service
Our main theatre department is comprised of 24 theatres in which broad ranges of surgical specialties perform procedures, inclusive of paediatrics. In addition, we are responsible for the Delivery Suite theatre where emergent/acute procedures occur.

The department responds to acute/emergent demand over 7 days/week, 24 hours/day. On average approximately 100 surgeries are performed each day - a combination acute (time critical) and elective (planned) work.

Required skills & experience you will need to be consider for this role:

- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- a minimum of5 years' previous nursing experience, including operating theatres in a tertiary setting
- post-graduate certificate (nursing) achieved or in progress
- enthusiasm and commitment in a changing environment
- strong patient focus
- proven experience leading a team and leading change
- well-developed communication skills
