Warehouse Operations Manager

Take complete responsibility of the warehouse operations - Oversee, manage and take control of all warehouse functions, while managing the warehouse standard. - Take care of and understand the Health & Safety protocols and compliance - Interviewing, hiring, and training new staff. Also making rosters and dividing responsibilities for the warehouse staff. - Liaising with purchasing department to make sure stock levels are maintained at all times. - Carry out performance management and make decisions to maintain supplies. - Coordinate with human resources department and conduct hiring, promotion, and performance evaluations of staff. - Taking care of the warehouse’s accounts and creating a work roster. - Implementation of health and safety procedures in the warehouse. - Constantly upgrading business knowledge. Maintaining and raising profit margins for various warehouse functions. - Has at least 4 years of experience in a business profile, at least a mid-management role related to warehouse management specifically is preferred. - Please note that experience of retail shops management does not qualify. It doesn’t require the same skills as warehouse management is a backend and more technical job, specifically in the food industry that we work in. - Good knowledge of warehouse operations, able to take-up overall management without much guidance - Understanding of the business of food in the New Zealand market, having an international market knowledge is even better. - An energetic, proactive, can-do attitude - Have the ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, be able to multitask and prioritize tasks NZ Citizens & Work Visa Holders are most welcome to apply
