We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. **Inpatient Service**:
Oncology Inpatient (Ward 64):
Ward 64 is our acute oncology inpatient unit, part of Te Pūriri o Te Ora| Regional Cancer and Blood Service at Te Toka Tumai Auckland. You will have opportunities to develop skills in the specialised area of oncology and work towards senior clinical and leadership positions such as Tumour Nurse Specialist, Research Nurse or Nurse Practitioner. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to work in a part of the hospital that is committed to improving Maori health outcomes and have opportunities to be part of our Kaimahi Māori team to broaden your knowledge of Māori health, tikanga and te reo. We provide support and continuing professional development opportunities, including the eviQs Antineoplastic Drug Administration Course and subsidised relevant postgraduate education.

Haematology Inpatient (Motutapu Ward):
Motutapu ward (Inpatient Haematology ward): Bring your heart and commitment to our teams striving to provide world class care to people with a Haematological diagnosis. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in nursing care of bone marrow transplantation and many other clinical assessment skills. Some of the skills you would gain include chemotherapy administration and managing haematologically complex patients. Our highly skilled multidisciplinary team are committed to delivering world class quality care to our patients with both malignant and non-malignant Haematological disorders. An innovative team of professionals will provide you with full orientation and ongoing support to help you succeed.
