We Finest Builders Ltd’s main business is construction and property development. We currently have an exciting opportunity for three Carpenter’s Assistants to join us. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and doesn’t mind helping the team wherever needed.

**Hours per week**: at least 30 hours per week to a maximum of 45 hours per week, five days between Monday to Saturday. Between the hours of 08:00 am to 06:00 pm.

**Hourly rate**: $30.00-$31.00

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow the instruction from the carpenter
- Assist carpenters in measuring and cutting wood, assembling materials, and installing structures
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk and marking gauge
- Help to shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand and/or power tools
- Work with carpenters together to assemble cut and shaped materials and fasten them together with nails, dowel pins or glue
- Be confident in machine operating for cutting of timber, plywood and other materials.
- Maintain an effective and tidy working area
- Load and unload materials, tools and equipment from delivery vehicles
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents
