Cosmetics Supervisor

Ballantynes are seeking a Cosmetics Supervisor to work closely with our Cosmetics Manager to support the leadership of the Cosmetics team.

Ballantynes has a world-class Beauty Hall with 16 Beauty houses including flagship concepts exclusive to the South Island. We are committed to providing a service unmatched by any other beauty department in New Zealand.

The Cosmetics Supervisor is a key leadership role for our large Cosmetics Team, reporting to the Cosmetics Manager on a regular basis.

Ballantynes are looking for an individual who has previous leadership experience managing and coaching a large team in a retail environment, with proven experience in driving sales, preferably in Beauty and Cosmetics.

As well as being a retail superstar, you will be expected to lead the team two days a week when the Cosmetics Manager is on RDO’s or leave and support the team on all other days.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm under pressure and always presenting a professional front.
- A track record of successful KPI’s results
- Proven leadership and management experience - luxury/cosmetics industry is advantageous
- Directive selling techniques that have helped to set and achieve sales goals
- Solution focused with proven problem solving
- Able to provide assessment and effective performance feedback to staff
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong time management skills

**Additional Information**
This is a permanent opportunity, working Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday, 30 hours per week.
