**Commercial Housekeeper Wanted**

**Work Location**: Canterbury Region

**Employment type**: Full time (minimum 30 hours/per week, Monday to Sunday), Permanent role

**Our pay**: $29.66 - $32.00 per hour depending on skills and experience

We are a property management company based in Christchurch.

We are now looking for a Commercial Housekeeper to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access into a reputable and experienced company.

**Tasks you may carry out**:

- Cleaning the interior properties and the immediate outside areas
- Sweeping, mopping and polishing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, and cleaning curtains and upholstered furniture
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures and fittings
- Replacing defective items such as light bulbs, door knob
- Picking up rubbish, emptying garbage containers, and taking contents to waste areas for removal
- Cleaning, maintaining, mowing and weeding the garden/ outside area.
- Restocking and replenishing items such as drinking glasses, writing equipment, linen and groceries
- Stripping and making beds, and changing bed linen
- Performing laundry and ironing of bed coverings
- Maintaining kitchens, washing dishes and cooking utensils, and cleaning appliances, cupboards, counters, pantries and floors

**To be successful you will need to**:

- Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions
- Be physically fit and willingness to work hard
- Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively
- Have a "can-do" attitude
- A full driving license is required
