Forklift Operator/ Processing Officer| Permanent Full-Time | Christchurch

As a Courier and Parcel Officer, you will be a critical element of the supply chain delivery of freight and parcels to our customers. You will be part of a team responsible for ensuring freight and products are sorted, processed and dispatched correctly and within established timeframes to be handed over to our couriers.

**In this dynamic job you will**:

- Sort our customers' parcels and freight from our Syd Bradley Depot
- Dispatch correctly to our couriers to ensure they can deliver on time
- Handle freight in a careful and professional manner
- Liaise with various internal contacts to solve problems and raise issues where required

**We have the folllwing shifts available at the moment**:

- Monday to Friday 4.30pm to 1.00am
- Monday to Friday 4.00pm to 00.30am
- Sunday 3.00pm to 11.30pm and Monday to Thursday 5.30pm to 2.00am
- Monday to Friday 6.30pm to 3.00am

**To be successful you will need to be**:

- Available to work the hours required but the shift
- Have experience operating a forklift and a current license
- Ready for a physically demanding role - heavy lifting is required
- A team player, supporting and building a connected team
- Have good geographical knowledge

This role will suit someone who is has high attention to detail, takes pride in their work, and who can work as a team.
