Satya is a multi-award winning restaurant that serves fresh, genuine and authentic South Indian cuisine using recipes that are centuries old.
We are looking for experienced kitchen Hand with at least three years of hands-on experience as a kitchen hand.
Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours at the rate of $24 per hour or more
Depending on the season a maximum of 48 hours or more at the rate of $24 per hour or more
The Kitchen Hand will be provided with an initial orientation and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning kitchens, food preparation areas
- Wash utensils, cooking pans, pots and other dishes.
- Place cleaned dishes in appropriate shelves, cabinets or other storage areas
- Assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking, and preparation of food
- Assist with food preparation
- Remove rubbish and keep all kitchen and rubbish areas clean
- Ensure working areas are kept clear
- Implement all hygiene and Health & Safety regulations
- Good at following instructions
- Great communication
- Responsible and respectful
- Show Initiative
