Reporting to the Contract Manager, as the STMS you will ensure the accurate following of temporary traffic management plans and oversee set up and pack down and regular monitoring of road closures and diversions within the Waipa District.
- You will be confident leading toolbox and closure briefings with crew, whilst providing clear job details and expectations to TMO’s.
- Willing and able to train and upskill our Traffic Controllers and junior STMS
- Ensure the safety of the Downer crew, subcontractors and the general public

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**

Ideally you will have leadership experience where you’ve held responsibility and accountability for staff and plant. You will also bring with you:

- Full Class 2 New Zealand Drivers Licence (essential)
- A valid Cat A/B STMS warrant
- Flexibility to work weekends, night shift and regularly rostered to complete on-call / afterhours response (essential)
- Show commitment to creating a a zero harm working environment
