As a Driver Operator for one of the largest infrastructure business’ in New Zealand, you will be involved in exciting projects requiring you to pick up civil work, the operation of heavy machinery and preparation of sites.

**About the job**
You will be tasked with undertaking a range of civil activities, primarily supporting Maintenance work on roads, footpaths, kerb and channel, landscaping and asphalt chip sealing. You will operate plant including trucks, excavators and other heavy machinery as well as working hands on with tools.

If you are physically fit and enjoy spending your days outdoors and on your feet, this could be the position for you. This is a Monday to Friday role, with potential for overtime work on weekends.

**About you**:
With some experience operating civil machinery under your belt, you will be confident operating within a team and independently as required. You will be comfortable using machinery and hand tools to get the job done. You’ll also:

- Have a Class 2 or 4 license with WTR endorsement (preferable)
- Enjoy working outdoors and keeping physically fi
- Be reliable and hard working
- Have a positive 'can do' attitude
- Show commitment to safe work practises
- Be flexible to pick up occasional weekend work and on-call shifts
