Grenada North, New Zealand Service Foods Full time

**We are looking for dedicated and committed Delivery Drivers (Class 1) to join our small and friendly Produce team in Wellington.**:** The role**:

- Part time, permanent role
- Weekends only
- Shift timings: 5.00 am to 12.00 noon
- Days of work: Saturday and Sunday
- Location: Jamaica drive, Grenada North

**The job**:

- Deliver goods according to customer orders.
- Plan the most efficient delivery route for the assigned deliveries.
- Unload goods at destination in the appropriate place in a timely manner
- Assist with pick pack and loading of truck
- Gather any signatures, cash on delivery or credit returns required.
- Fill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirement
- Perform daily checks - oils, coolant, WOF etc.
- Wash and clean trucks or other vehicles when required.
- Assist in loading the trucks
- Help team in picking/dispatching if needed.

**The person**:
You will have
- a full Class 1 drivers licence, must be able to drive manual
- Have clear communication and customer service skills.
- Also would have reasonably good reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
- Be confident, flexible and have attention to detail.
- Clean driving and criminal records
- Have prior NZ experience and knowledge of basic food ingredients.
- Be physically strong and fit; should be able to lift up to 25 kg.
- Have a great attitude towards work and be fast learner.
- Possess good organizational and time management skills.
- Be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Have reliable attendance and transport.
