**About the Role**
You’ll play a key role in **coordinating production schedules,** ensuring materials and resources are available, and keeping operations running efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on organisation, problem-solving, and keeping a fast-paced production environment on track.
**_ What You’ll Do_**
- Plan and schedule production activities to meet delivery deadlines.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure material availability.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to optimise efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Identify potential bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve workflow**.**
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, workflow management, and resource allocation.
- Experience in the steel, metal fabrication, or manufacturing industry (preferred)
- Proficient in scheduling software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, or similar).
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively across teams.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies (desirable)
