**About the Role**

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join our Software team based in Auckland. We have a large Test Practice, and you would be joining a very collaborative team. On a day-to-day basis you’ll be focused on:

- Operating the Invenco test framework to ensure delivery quality
- Definition of test planning and approaches
- Development of manual test cases and execution
- Automation script development and execution
- Support delivery conversations on testing progress
- Supporting release deployment through environments

**Requirements**:
This position requires the following technical skills:
**Essential**:

- Payments industry experience desirable but not essential
- Thorough understanding of SDLC
- Excellent technical skills including SQL, and troubleshooting abilities
- nodejs/javascript experience or other relevant language
- Extensive API test experience
- Web automation testing experience is a plus
- Understanding of Gitlab / Github
- Great communication - and team player
- Tertiary qualification in a related field

**Desirable**:

- Experience of projects within the retail petroleum automation sector /payments systems
- **Customer Focus **- Acts for the customer, knowledgeable of customer’s requirements, works collaboratively.

**Drive for Results **- Ability to focus on important issues, regularly refocuses on results, demonstrates a drive to exceed performance targets.
