**A Little Bit About The Company**

Our client is a privately run business with a huge focus on building long-term, sustainable, high-quality businesses that operate throughout economic cycles. They are taking new investment from the current owner and embarking on a number of JV's. They will be growing quickly in the coming years across diversified industries including FMCG, Manufacturing, Financial Services and Property.

This will create huge opportunities but also increase the reporting requirements across the organisation. The owners are keen to build a best-in-class, forward focused commercially astute finance team. The new JV partners will be a mix of private equity and family office investments who will also require high quality, timely reporting. This is a critical hire that will lift the capabilities of the finance function and free up the CFO to focus on growth opportunities.

**Some More Information About The Role**

This is a newly created Commercial Analyst role working with a commercially astute leader. The organisation is looking to develop their reporting capability and build a finance function that doesn't just report but guides and influences the business. You will have responsibility for all management accounting and commercial analysis across a range of businesses. The Commercial Analyst will play an important and pivotal role in driving insights and analysis so we are looking for someone with a strategic and commercial mindset. You will report to an experienced and highly commercial leader who can help you grow and develop in the years ahead.

Some of the main responsibilities of the role include:
Managing the Budgeting & Forecasting process

Management Accounts and Reporting

Cash Flow Reporting and Analysis

Analysis of current and future investment opportunities

This is the type of opportunity that you can really make your own, it is a great opportunity for someone taking the step up from Accountant level. They will be building out various businesses quickly with heavy investment so you will have a broad remit and for the right person a likely route is to become the finance lead of one of these ventures as they develop. As part of the role you will also get to mentor a small financial accounting team, providing them with guidance and support.

**So Who Are You & What Is Your Profile?**

We are looking for a commercially minded Accountant/Analyst with strong technical foundations. Above all, you will be curious, analytical and someone who can build relationships with every part of an organisation. We are looking for someone who has advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities, whilst still being in the detail of monthly reporting. This role is suitable for someone who is genuinely excited by the prospect of joining a business in high growth mode.

You will need to be CA/CPA qualified to be considered for this role with at least 5 years experience under your belt working in commercially focused roles. This is a key role in the organisation so your ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders will be important.
