**Job Duties**: - Read and interpret technical drawings to determine materials and assemblymethods. - Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and panel products for cabinetry, doors, frames, etc. - Use precise joinery techniques, including mortise and tenon, dovetail, and biscuit joints. - Assemble and install custom joinery for kitchens, bathrooms, and office spaces. - Fit hardware like hinges, locks, handles, and runners. - Operate woodworking tools and machinery safely and efficiently. - Ensure compliance with New Zealand’s health and safety regulations. - May involve repair, refurbishment, and restoration of wooden structures. - Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in construction or level 4 or above relevant qualification. - Ability to work under pressure on a busy construction site. - Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime. - Must be flexible to work early-morning and late-night shifts. - Long-term and full commitments are required. - Can work well and efficiently both unsupervised and within a team. - Physically fit the job and can work outdoors in the hot and cold season.
