The Veterinary Hospital Group is well known for its friendly, caring staff and relaxed working environment. The area our clinics are located in is well known for its scenic beauty, stunning beaches, cafes and night life. We are independently owned and have clinics situated across all of Auckland.
We currently have a companion animal position available at our Massey Heights clinic.
YOU let us know what YOU are looking for and we will aim to tailor a role that maximises your work life balance. Part, or full-time options are available. There is no on call requirement and short Saturday morning shifts are shared between veterinarians.
The Massey Heights clinic is an established and expanding clinic with a fun and relaxed two veterinarians, 3.5 veterinary nurse team. There is a resident clinic cat Boris who keeps the clinic in ship shape order and a view of the Sky tower and upper harbour from the sunny upstairs staff room. Ideally, we are looking for a veterinarian with some experience and an interest in collaborative leadership to help this growing clinic to meet its potential. For those taking their first steps into a senior role we are able to provide strong support from experienced leadership team. For those with the experience and the confidence to fly we are happy to support from afar and give you the space and autonomy to really develop something special (the bones are there) The Veterinary Hospital Group is focused on providing a supportive work environment for ongoing learning with in-house continuing education as well as a generous CPD allowance and leave. There is also the potential to enter our “advanced practitioner pathway” where additional funding and time off to study can be provided.
This position allows for the unique opportunity of working in a local clinic while having the backing, experience, and support of over 30 other veterinarians within the wider group.
Remuneration is based on experience but will be generous and competitive to reflect the current market. Your employment package also includes New Zealand Veterinary Council registration, NZVA membership and CPD allowance. For those outside of Auckland
