**THE ROLE**

We are looking for a Trade Assistant, who will work under direct supervision, assisting with a range of tasks related to the maintenance and repairs of telecommunications infrastructure.

For the first six months of the role, you will be earning $33.25 per hour and you will be trained and working alongside our experienced team to gain practical experience and further develop your skills.

After six months, you will have the opportunity to progress to a Communications Field Worker and become a permanent employee. This is an excellent opportunity to achieve your goals and develop your skills, as well as the chance to gain recognised qualifications on-the-job.

**KEY DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Hauling
- General site maintenance,
- Assisting with cable jointing and fibre slicing
- Completing associated paperwork and online requirements

**YOU WILL HAVE**:

- White Card
- Current Driver’s License
- First Aid and CPR (willing to obtain **prior** to starting)
