We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Café Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operational Management**: Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
- **Team Leadership**: Recruit, train, and supervise café staff, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
- **Customer Service**: Maintain excellent customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- **Financial Management**: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and cost control.
- **Menu Development**: Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to develop and update the menu, focusing on quality, creativity, and seasonal ingredients.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
- **Marketing & Promotions**: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones, including social media management and local promotions.
- **Supplier Management**: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring the café is stocked with high-quality ingredients and supplies.
- **Customer Engagement**: Foster a welcoming environment, engaging with customers to build a loyal customer base.

**Qualifications**:

- NZQF Diploma, or at least three years of relevant experience.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of leading successful teams.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering a high-quality dining experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle challenges effectively and make informed decisions quickly.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- High attention to detail, especially concerning health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
- A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and a creative approach to menu and service development.
