Kiwifruit Supervisor

Our business spans from Te Puke through to Gisborne with a young, diverse and growing Leadership team.We own and manage over 200 hectares of Kiwifruit, 120 hectares of Grapes and are currently developing 12 hectares of Apples. Thompsons Horticulture Limited is looking for one Kiwifruit Supervisor to be located primarily in Gisborne. This role will require you to supervise and coach a team to meet and optimize productivity targets while keeping a strong focus on Health & Safety and the wellness of your team. This is not a beginner orchard worker role.

This role is primarily required to be in Gisborne, New Zealand. There may be occasional travel required to Bay of Plenty and Auckland. Travel to Bay of Plenty may occur to help supervise and oversee other crews during peak seasons. You may need to also travel to Auckland for one day at a time to assist with the arrivals and departures of our new team members and transport them to Bay of Plenty or Gisborne.

**Terms**:

- **Pay rate**:$27.80 - $30.00 per hour (this is an experienced worker rate)
- ** Type of employment**: Full time, Permanent position
- ** Days and hours of work**: Normal hours of work are expected to be 40 hours per week on any of the seven days of the week with no special consideration given to Saturday or Sunday. A minimum of 30 hours per week guaranteed. Maximum hours are expected to be 60 hours per week in peak seasons. Hours will be allocated between 6:00am to 8:00pm.
