A supervisor shall supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the orchard. You will report direct to Orchard Manager.
- Plan, organise and record the business meetings.
- Create and oversee opportunities for staff cross-training.
- Implement standard operating procedures.
- Review information production practices in a business and produce information for the management.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate the staff employed.
- Create a daily, weekly, and monthly work schedule for staff under the manager’s supervision.
- Interpret and use financial data and reports for business decision making
- Participate in strategy development for the promotion and business development
- Keep an active eye on the market to research forthcoming products and techniques which could lead competition and help business to be ahead in the industry.
- Make reports on time for equipment, materials and production
- Dealing and organising daily requirements with external suppliers and transporters
- Lead implementation of cutting edge modern farm practices, techniques, and equipment.
- Maintain proper records and reporting of key data - i.e.; crop estimates, and

Integrated pest management data.
- Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures.
- Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement.
- Manage financial resources and participate in budgeting
- Look for franchising options for business expansion
- Plan, organize and oversee the ordering and planting of new plants
- Analyse the impact of influence and their impact on the business.
- Ensuring safety and security procedures are enforced and followed by all regular and part time staff.
- Suggest or recommend changes in the business process and manage risk from economic factors
- Oversee the preventative maintenance and repair of all equipment and tools used in the horticultural area.

Other Skills
- attention to details with more learning skills
- Trainee experience (0-6 months) is preferable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.66 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
