Our client, REPTEC Limited, is growing and has a new opportunity for an Engineer to join their well-established and expert team. As a family owned and operated small business, you can be guaranteed a position where you will gain plenty of variety in your day, which will not be restricted to the workshop. Getting out in the field, always having the opportunity to do work that is out of the box, means you will always be learning.

Offering a minimum of 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, This role would suit someone who is an experienced engineer, with the understanding that this specialised custom work you will pick up on the job. Experience with hydraulics would be a bonus, but a willingness to learn is key. The ‘number 8 wire’ approach to solving problems is essential as REPTEC specialise in dairy sheds, irrigation, ag machinery and more. No two jobs are the same, repairs and maintenance will be varied, and we are sure you will find some enjoyment in the challenge.

Reptec is located in Reporoa, 20 minutes south of Rotorua, easily accessible to regional cities and close proximity to Auckland, Taupo, mountains, lakes and beaches if you are looking to relocate. The small team have varied backgrounds and together, service the agricultural industry in the area.

They are offering a competitive remuneration package, with an hourly rate between $35 -$40 gross per hour for the right person to complete their team.

**Key Tasks include**:

- Completing repairs and maintenance on agricultural machinery, including but not limited to JCB’s, tractors, feed-out wagons and agricultural equipment
- Hydraulic work, including replacement, and making of hydraulic hoses and working on rams
- Stainless, Aluminium, Arc, Mig and Tig welding
- Working with customers offsite troubleshooting engineering issues

**What do we need from you?**
- Ideally five years engineering experience
- The ability for you to communicate well and manage job administration
- Be able to manage and prioritise jobs according to importance
- Dedicated to lean work practices, keeping workspaces clear and jobs actively managed
- Ability to build a rapport with their regular customers, who have been a part of REPTEC for a long time
- Ability to work within the team, but also independently
- Competent in working with manual design principals, without the aid of computer programming
- A restricted or full, clean drivers licence
- Current welding tickets would be an advantage
