**The Role**

We are seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented people to join our Apprentice Programme to train as Line Mechanics. The role will commence in August 2025.

If you are committed to your ongoing learning and professional development, Connetics will support you in succeeding in this career.

Once qualified you will be able to work in the distribution sector of the electrical supply industry as a line mechanic, installing, maintaining and replacing electrical distribution equipment.

You will join a friendly, social team who have a great time together, look out for one another and are absolutely committed to everyone's safety. The role is full time (40 hours per week) with the ability to work overtime based on project demands.

**Skills & Experience**
- Completed a relevant pre trade course - advantageous but not essential
- Goal to receive your National Certificate in Electrical Supply Industry
- Highly motivated team player with a positive attitude
- Passion for learning and development
- Aspiration to the be best in your field
- Commitment to completing this apprenticeship
- Current and valid NZ Class 1 Drivers Licence (allowing you to drive a manual vehicle)
- Class 2 NZ Drivers Licence is preferable
- Comfortable working at heights

**Pre-employment tests - Medical and Ministry of Justice**

Connetics require all successful applicants to complete a pre-employment medical test, which includes a drug and alcohol test and a pre-employment Ministry of Justice check.
