Tanisha Enterprises Limited is a locally established café group known for providing a welcoming atmosphere and high-quality service. We are seeking a reliable and motivated **Café Manager** to lead our team in Wellington and maintain our commitment to excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee daily café operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to design and update menus based on customer feedback and seasonal availability.
- Manage staff rosters to maintain adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
- Supervise front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure consistent, positive customer experiences.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff to uphold high service standards.
- Monitor and review staff performance, providing feedback and coaching.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, and supplier relationships to maintain adequate supplies.
- Handle daily financial transactions and support management with budgeting and cost control.
- Prepare and manage budgets to achieve financial and operational goals.
- Oversee opening and closing procedures to ensure the café is ready for daily operations.
- Organize and coordinate special events in collaboration with the kitchen team.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
- Maintain food quality through regular checks on freshness, storage, and presentation.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Uphold company policies and maintain a positive, team-oriented café environment.

**Role Details**
- Minimum **30 hours per week**.
- Pay range**:$27 - $34 per hour**, based on skills and experience.

**Requirements**:

- At least **1 year of relevant experience** or a **Level 5 qualification** in a related field.
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and late shifts.
- Physically fit to handle the demands of a busy café environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
