Our Wellington team at Victoria University is looking for a Day Supervisor

This is a Permanent role based on a 40 hours' work week, Monday - Friday with some variations on these timings from week to week to ensure consistent service delivery as a cleaning team to the customer e.g. to organise or carry out cover cleaning if staff are away. Flexibility and adaptability will be key in this role.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Supervising, training and managing the day-to-day frontline staff and tasks, ensuring client expectation is met and surpassed every time
- Conducting site inductions and training routines for all cleaners, and maintaining relevant records
- Completing quality audits (QAs)
- Ensuring health & safety compliance and assisting in investigating incidents; completing toolbox meetings
- Carrying out cleaning cover for the team

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Always promotes and works to health & safety requirements
- Able to carry out commercial cleaning work for long shifts across a large site (a lot of walking)
- Able to pass relevant security and screening checks
- Flexible to work variable timings from week to week and to respond to emergency requests from the client
- Clean Full NZ Driver License
