Due to the increasing number of customers, now we are hiring two Duty Managers to join our team. **We are offering you the following**: A competitive hourly rate of $29.66 for Duty Manager, along with a good work-life balance, flexible working conditions, and other benefits. Full-time employment with shifts from Monday to Sunday. Weekly hours will range from a minimum of 30 to a maximum of 50. The role requires working nights and weekends. Additional perks such as staff meals, dining discounts, and training. **Main Duties of Duty Manager**: **Operational Management**: Participate and oversee daily restaurant activities, including reservation, food and beverage services, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. **Team Management**: Lead the staff, handle scheduling, and oversee performance and training. **Customer Satisfaction**: Handle customer complaints professionally and strive for high levels of satisfaction. **Communication**: Act as a bridge for kitchen and serving staff and customers, ensuring clear communication across the restaurant. **Liquor Service**: Hold a valid Liquor License Qualification (LCQ) and ensure that the restaurant complies with New Zealand liquor laws and regulations. **Administrative Duties**: Manage records, invoices, receipts, and inventory, and assist with budget planning with chef. **Quality Control**: Inspect food preparation and service areas to maintain a high standard of the restaurant. **Health and Safety**: Ensure compliance with New Zealand occupational health and safety regulations and guidelines, and handle any emergencies effectively. **Requirements for the Duty Manager**: No prior experience is required, but a Liquor License Qualification (LCQ) is required for Duty Manager position. On-the-job training will be provided if you are the right one. Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. Excellent team support and people management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
