Hammerhand

**Evergreen Modular Limited is a part of the well-established Property Partners Group, aiming to become a leader in solving New Zealand’s housing shortage by using world-leading technology to enable off-site manufacturing of affordable and environmentally friendly apartment buildings.**

We are looking for experienced Hammerhands who have a good work ethic and a great attitude to work at our factory based in Wiri.

This is a permanent position with an established company. You will get to work in a safe, clean, well-managed factory environment and have stable hours.

**What will you do?**
- Assist with the preparation and construction of timber buildings
- Operate machinery, hand and power tools
- Construct framing, erect plasterboard, exterior cladding, interior fit-outs, and trim.

**What do you need?**
- Experienced Hammerhand (6-10 years ideal)
- Work experience in construction or truss/frames factory preferred
- New Zealand Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4) or equivalent ideal
- Ability to read plans with an understanding of the building codes
- Good eye for detail and an ability to solve problems practically
- Strong communication skills with a “can-do” attitude
- The ability to follow instructions
- A high level of fitness with heavy lifting abilities
- Safety Aware

**What's in it for you?**
- Minimum 40 hours per week (6am to 2.30pm).
- Excellent pay $25-35/hour depending on experience and qualifications
