We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CCTV Installer and Technician to join our team. As a CCTV Installer and Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing CCTV surveillance cameras and alarm systems for our clients. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties and assets.
Full Time role
- Minimum 30 hours per week, pay starts from $29.66 per hour
**Responsibilities**:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV surveillance cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related equipment according to industry standards and client specifications.
- Install, program, and test alarm systems, including intrusion detection, fire detection, and access control systems, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site surveys to assess client needs, recommend appropriate security solutions, and provide accurate cost estimates.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Respond promptly to service calls and emergency situations, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure client satisfaction.
- Document all installations, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately and maintain inventory of equipment and parts.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a CCTV Installer and Alarm Technician or similar role in the security industry would be preferred Relevant qualification
- Diploam in Electronics or Telecommunications or IT level qualification may substitute the expereince requirements.
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting CCTV surveillance cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and alarm systems.
- Knowledge of low voltage wiring, network configuration, and IP-based security systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
