Our CHT Glynavon Home and Hospital facility is located in the beautiful country town of Te Puke in the Bay of Plenty region. We have opportunities available for **Registered Nurses and CAP Nurses** to join a friendly, experienced team of nurses and caregivers who are committed to supporting and providing the highest possible level of care and independence to our residents.

Our registered nurses provide clinical care including assessments, planning and delivery of care according to accepted nursing practice and standards with empathy and respect for our residents.

**What you will do**
- Deliver exceptional care and demonstrate this by leading by example
- Provide care plans for residents as required
- Complete nursing assessments of residents
- Maintaining accurate documentation
- Assisting with audit preparation
- Regularly monitoring and evaluating response to planned care
- Communicating with residents and their families/whanau in order to enhance resident care

**You will need**
- Empathy and respect for older people
- A valid work visa or be a NZ resident/citizen
- Ideally 1+ years of experience in an aged care setting - we will provide training
- A current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate
- Studying or recently completed your CAP
- The flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis and must be able to work weekends if required
- Computer literacy skills
