**About the role**

This role is responsible devising and implementing strategies for aligning Council facility assets with the Long-Term Plan and Asset Management Plan. It involves overseeing Council facilities, taking the lead in maintenance planning, and ensuring the upkeep of community facility asset information within the Council's asset information database, known as RAMM, as well as managing the Dannevirke Aerodrome under the Council's purview.

**Who we are looking for**

Ideally, you will possess:

- Strong time management skills and ability to manage a high workload.
- High level of communication and relationship management skills.
- Financial and budget management skills.
- Understanding of community facility management.
- You should be competent with office procedures and computer software programmes.
- A valid NZ Driver’s License.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in facilities management, contract management and/or maintenance management.
