We're looking for an experienced retail assistant to support in a Wholefoods Retail store in Mt Eden. This is a hands on role on the shop floor. You will be interacting with customers and other staff, and be physically fit to manage restocking and inwards goods. You can learn on the job but will need to have a strong interest in food and nutrition and a can-do attitude.

Key tasks include:

- Shop floor - cashier, customer service such as product information, observing customer activity to ensure adequate service is provided and theft is avoided.
- Attentive customer service
- Maintaining a tidy environment and ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Maintaining well organised merchandised areas
- Growing personal knowledge in specialist products
- Labelling and replenishing of stock on shop floor.
- Repacking of bulk product.
- Processing and putting away supplier orders.
- Ad hoc duties, which may include such activities as filling customer orders, updating product information books, signage on shop floor etc.
- Assisting with documentation, manuals and other administrative or operational tasks.
