Butchery Assistant

**The Role**

As a Butchery Assistant you'll help the Butchery team with the packing and wrapping of freshly delivered poultry lines. We want to 'win at Fresh' by providing the freshest and best quality produce to our customers. You'll also have the opportunity to interact with our customers as they complete their journey through the store while restocking Butchery displays.

**This is a part time permanent role**:
**The hours**:
Wednesday 16.30 - 20.30

Sunday 07.00 - 17.00

**About You**

With a focus on 'thinking customer', success in this role will also require:

- A 'safety' mind-set. This role involves some lifting and working in a cold environment. You're tasks will be completed with care and the safety of yourself and the team in mind.
- Excellent verbal communication skills - with a desire to engage meaningfully with the rest of the team and our customers.
- Able to think on your feet and be responsive in a fast-paced environment where speed and safety are equally important.
- You'll have a well thought out and reliable transport option to get to and from work. These are early hours where public transport does not operate.
