**The opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity at our Wellington Laboratory for a Supervisor to lead our growing Animal Health department.

Our new Supervisor will be working alongside and managing the Technicians participating to serology testing activities as well as coordinating workflow of samples through the Laboratory. They will be responsible for ensuring the final delivery of results & reports to customers and champion continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs while delivering technically sound results.

**The Job Entails**:

- Fostering a safety and wellbeing culture across the whole laboratory
- Driving staff engagement by maintaining a positive attitude and leading by example
- Being accountable for the smooth running of operations for serology activities, including the monitoring and reporting of productivity KPIs and testing turnaround time (TAT)
- Ensuring consumables and calibrated equipment are available for testing.
- Exceeding customer expectations by providing adequate and prompt replies to enquiries.

**About You**:
To be considered for this role you will ideally have
- Prior experience working in a ISO17025 environment
- Technical knowledge related to Animal Health ELISA testing
- Prior experience leading a team in a commercial environment
- A passion for Safety and Wellbeing
- A logical and solution focussed mindset with the ability to adapt to change
- A clear and concise communication style
- The ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.
