**The Role**

As Head of Marketing + Engagement at TBIG you’ll get involved in both the big picture and the creative detail. You’ll sit at the management table but retain strong connections and input into day-to-day marketing and comms activities. In all your interactions you’ll champion our culture and values.

You’ll take the lead developing, managing and delivering the marketing, brand and engagement strategies, supported by an established and high performing Marketing team.

There’s a huge variety to your work, and so many touch points across the entire business. This role will draw on your broad understanding of strategic marketing, and really utilise your innovative thinking and influencing skills.

You’ll be excited by the challenge and pace of this unique role. Here’s a small snapshot of some of what you’ll be doing:

- You’ll prepare the Marketing and Comms business plan, aligning with key business objectives
- Preparing specific campaign/initiative plans to implement agreed strategies
- Participate as part of the TBIG management team, contributing to strategic leadership and wider business management
- Leading a team of 3, providing line management which supports the team’s development. Managing workflow, and balancing resource to meet strategic priorities
- Develop new marketing tools, presentations and content for use on a range of channels
- Lead and manage internal comms initiatives which connect, inform and engage TBIG staff across the business. This is through our internal publications, Sharepoint homepage, national and regional conferences and a range of regular company announcements
- Write, and delegate the writing of news stories and articles on project successes, events etc for communication through strategic publications
- Support the Business Managers with RFP bid strategy and production, directing the comms team in providing content, design and production. Ensuring consistency of tone and key messaging
- Develop and drive social media strategy as part of an overall digital strategy

**Sound good? Here’s what we need from you**:

- A proven track record in a broad marketing role, delivering a range of general and targeted marketing strategies.
- A relevant qualification in Marketing, Journalism or Communications
- Experience of cross-channel and cross-segment marketing strategy
- Experience in social media strategy, development and content management
- Experience in website strategy and content development
- Strategic and technical understanding of digital comms in all forms
- Excellent business writing and creative content writing skills
- Team leadership experience including workflow delegation and line management
- Experience in bid/proposal production
- Experience working in MS Office, Adobe CC, Squarespace etc.
- Ideally, you’ll have previous experience working in professional services/property or construction fields
- You’ll have an awareness and understanding of government objectives in achieving broader outcomes (social/economic/cultural/environmental) from its procurement
- You’ll also likely bring other relevant skills, such as PR/media relationship experience, presentation skills training, event creative and management skills, sponsorships knowledge.
