Paving Foreman

A unique opportunity has become available for an experienced Paving Foreman to lead our largest crew based in Christchurch. As Foreman, you will report into our Surfacing Supervisor and take overall responsibility for leading the crew and delivering a high quality asphalt surface on every job.

Right from the beginning of the day, you will create a paving plan and hold an effective pre-start meeting, delegating critical tasks to crew members to ensure everyone understands their responsibilities.

To be successful, we will be looking at your leadership and people skills coupled with your knowledge of paving and 'can do' attitude. Your will be able to demonstrate clear and precise communications skills and have a strong attention to detail. Besides this, it goes without saying that you must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screening process and a class 2 license is also preferred.

You will be eligible for time and a half after 40 hours.
