Join a dynamic team as a Senior Engineer on a 6 month fixed term basis. Immediate involvement in key technical initiatives and projects.

**What our client can offer**:
Our client provides an engaging work environment for a Senior Engineer at their Christchurch head office. This role, on a six-month fixed term contract, offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on significant projects. The position requires on-site presence, allowing for direct collaboration with the team and hands-on involvement in project execution.

**What you will do**:
In this role, you will be involved in two major projects. The first involves rolling out an update to a key part of the client’s business, entailing reconfiguration to connect with a newly implemented back-end system. The second project presents a unique challenge - consolidating Wi-Fi networks and reconfiguring the entire desktop fleet to align with the new network settings. This task demands a strong understanding of group policy management and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

**Skills and experience we are looking for**:

- Proven experience in Windows client and Group Policy.
- Ability to self-manage and efficiently allocate time to tasks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft stack technologies.
- Expertise in DNS and DCP configurations.
- Comfortable with both project management and hands-on technical work.
- Immediate availability is preferable.
