**Mō te tūnga | About the role**

You will be part of a small fast paced team that plays an essential part of maintaining the Canterbury District Health Board Facilities. The team provides exceptional cleaning services 365 days a year, across both day and night shifts.

We have multiple permanent, part time roles available, ranging from 16 hours to 28 hours per week. This role is based at Hillmorton Hospital.

You will be responsible for:

- Completing all cleaning tasks to a high standard
- Ensure daily schedules and task lists are completed in set time frame
- Working alongside other cleaners to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Matching service requirements to the clinical needs
- Maintenance of equipment and operated according to specifications
- Utilise the correct chemicals and dilutions

Your skills will include:

- High level of Patient confidentiality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Experience as a cleaner, particularly within health is preferred but not essential.

Full training will be provided to all new staff joining our team.**
