**About us**:
Hawke’s Bay Hospital is a 364 bed hospital providing acute and elective care for the Hawke's Bay region. We have most major medical and surgical subspecialties on site (except cardiothoracic and neurosurgery), as well as paediatrics and O&G. We are well supported by a strong regional ICU team. We have strengthening Primary and Community health services and an increasingly integrated approach to health and health care.

**About our team**:
Working within a team of 8 House Officers, you will have the full support of 8 Specialist Consultants and work closely with 8 Registrars. There is an opportunity to sit the O&G Diploma. While enjoying a wide variety of inpatient cases, you will have the chance to experience Women’s Outpatients, work in the Surgical Ward, Operation Theatre, Acute Admissions Unit, Emergency Department and the Early Pregnancy Clinic.

**About you**:

- Suitable for Resident Medical Officers who will be PGY3 or above.
- Applicants must be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Medical Council of New Zealand
