We are a vehicle services company based in Auckland. We are now looking for 2 Motor Mechanics to join our supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people and will allow access into a reputable and experienced company.

**Key Tasks Include**:

- Use test equipment to detect and diagnose vehicle faults in parts and engines
- Dismantle and rebuild, repair or replace engines, parts or systems
- Provide services to vehicles and change lubricants (such as oil), coolants (such as radiator coolant) and filters
- Complete preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as replacing brakes
- Test driving after each service and maintain accurate records relating to clients, vehicles, parts and service history
- Ensure all important parts and potential troublesome areas are examined
- Assist WOF inspector with brake and steering system inspection

**To be successful you will need to**:

- Have at least three years’ solid relevant experience, or
- Have a relevant NZ Level 4 qualification
- Be a great team player, be able to follow instructions
- Be physically fit and willingness to work hard
- Good eye for details and an ability to solve problems practically and effectively
- have "can-do" attitude
