**The opportunity**
Our Whangarei Survey team provides surveying services for large infrastructure, geodetic, topographic and cadastral projects across the Northland region. With a strong pipeline of work we are looking for a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor to join us.
Our Whangarei office is made up of approximately 30 individuals working across several disciplines. It is a tight knit office that prides themselves on delivering quality work for our clients driven by a strong team culture. We will give you the tools, support and most importantly, the right level of challenge to enable you to excel in the role.
We enjoy a huge variety of projects both through survey specific clients and through our role to provide the spatial data for the Beca business. Your role will see you working on some of Northland’s most significant Land and Infrastructure development projects for both Government and Private clients. We are looking for you to be part of our motivated and trusted team, dedicated to developing and sharing technical innovation.
As a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor, you will be leading survey projects, collecting and processing field data, producing reports and assisting with job management. All of our survey projects are carried out in teams and you'll be responsible for co-ordination and direction of the team. In addition to conventional survey techniques, you will be encouraged to develop your skills in a variety of advanced scanning and remote data capture methodologies.You will have the opportunity to hone in on your area of specialism whilst being encouraged to maintain your knowledge across the full spectrum of geospatial services.
**About you**
You will be a licensed or near licensed Cadastral Surveyor with experience in managing stakeholders such as clients and contractors. This experience will have seen you with a strong knowledge of GNSS, robotic total stations, LandOnline and survey software.
You will have a wide range of survey experience ideally with experience in a consulting environment. You will have a strong sense of ownership and proven record of delivering on time, while also being open to developing your client facing skills.

You will be a value-driven person who enjoys sharing the successes of your colleagues and delivering excellence for your clients. You will have a desire to grow your skills and develop yourself professionally, as well as assisting with mentoring and developing junior staff.
