Full Job Description
- Harper Smith have an opportunity on offer for an experienced and professional Civil Site Supervisor/Site Manager to take their experience to the next level. This is a highly respected and well known Civil Contractor, owned and operated in the BOP. Offering services including general civil construction, land development, subdivisions, earthworks, utilities and drainage and roading.
- Responsibilities for this position include overseeing the management of the site including Health & Safety requirements, tradespeople and sub-contractors. Liaising with the Project Manager in regards to priorities, programme, materials supply and stock levels, troubleshooting and resource requirements. Communicating with Council Representatives and Project Engineer’s in regards to testing, compliance and technical accuracy.
- You’ll be working with a variety of people on site, so your ability to be a hands on supervisor and a professional and confident communicator will hold you in good stead. You will be undertaking inductions, tool box talks and ensuring everything on site is efficient and effective. You’ll be highly organised, competent and confident managing a team.
- You will need to be:
- Good general civils experience with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Site Supervisor or foreman with a civil contractor
- Proficient at using a computer and record keeping
- An effective communicator
