The Head of Programme Management NZ is responsible for the end-to-end management of projects to contracted time, quality, and budget requirements.

The NZ programme requires the delivery of multiple complex projects and products for one or more of FNZ’s NZ clients. In this role you will be accountable for successful delivery of the programme, to executive stakeholders within FNZ and externally to our clients.

The role will involve leadership of a distributed project team in multiple locations, and the proactive identification, management and resolution of risks and issues throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

- Accountable for the delivery of large transformational change programmes
- Oversee multiple projects within the change programme, ensuring programme goals are reached with effective quality measures in place
- Monitor expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses
- Manage the delivery of the project through the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to implementation, in line with FNZ SDLC and PLC
- Lead, manage and motivate a virtual team in multiple geographic locations, communicating project progress, and ensuring accountability for delivery
- Motivate, mentor and encourage project team members to utilise themselves to their full potential

In addition, they will have strong confidence in their delivery, backed by a delivery focused working style, the ability to take initiative and solid commercial awareness.
