Our client is seeking an experienced road construction supervisor for our Waikato team. The Supervisor is a critical part of their success and will coordinate the daily activity of the team, ensuring productivity, efficiency, safety profitability for construction projects.

This is your chance to be in a leadership role as part of an road maintenance operation, working with modern gear, and an established competent and capable delivery team

**The role**:
The primary purpose of this position is to supervise and deliver road construction/maintenance activities with a focus on completing works on time, within budget and to the client specification.

This involves but is not limited to identification of business opportunities, as well as the management, supervision and co-ordination of roading resources, including suppliers and subcontractors.

Key requirements for the Road Supervisor role are;
- Minimum 5 years' roading experience (construction or maintenance)
- Knowledge and understanding of construction plant.
- Excellent staff leadership skills
- Competence in programming and planning
- Proficient in using the full Microsoft suite of programmes.
- Previous frontline management interfacing with clients and stakeholders
