**Job Description** About the Role**

We’re looking for a proactive **Senior Test & Commissioning Engineer** to join our project team. This role involves leading testing and commissioning of rail systems.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and support testing and commissioning of rail systems.
- Support fault finding, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Update testing documentation, and evidences.
- Prepare test specifications and reports in line with ASA, EN, and IEC standards.
- Supervise and mentor technicians and junior engineers, ensuring competency in testing procedures.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and government bodies including Auckland Transport.
- Coordinate with external project stakeholders.
- Ensure safety compliance during live testing and issue work permits as required.

**Skills & Experience**
- Experienced in test and commissioning of rail systems (rollingstock or wayside)
- Strong background in rail systems, testing, and engineering change management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, FRACAS, and technical reporting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with Australian and international standards (ASA, EN, IEC).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
