UX Design Manager

This role will be part of our highly successful and forever growing Product department and will be responsible for working closely with both the product and engineering teams to prioritize, design and deliver product and features.
This role will support the product team to ensure clean and well thought out designs for our customers. Leadership qualities will be a strength of yours as will mentor and guide others in the design team.

But what is ezyVet & Vet Radar you ask? ezyVet is a cloud based Veterinary Practice Management Software and Vet Radar is a workflow management software. We provide easy to use Software that helps veterinary practices save time, increase revenue, communicate better with clients and reduce workload stress.
We are a premium software product and part of IDEXX’s Veterinary offerings.

So what are we looking for?

Create a well-considered design plan and work with our Product Owners/Managers and Engineers to bring the solution to life

Design, ideate, problem solve Be in your creative element coming up with solutions and interactive prototypes using your UI and UX skills

Develop and roll out testing with our amazing network of customers who are in our testing group, as well as some of our engineers and wider ezyVet staff.

Work closely with our user base to gain a deep understanding of our users workflows and requirements.

R esponsible for creating interactive user centric prototypes.

Collaborate with Product and Engineering Leadership

Provide mentoring and leadership to less experienced designers to improve and revise through constant feedback.
What you will bring

A customer centric thought process.

Prior experience in the UX/UI space.

Prior experience with prototyping and user testing

High attention to detail

A creative flair matched with an intensity to understand how customers use the product.

Self-driven, curious, and strong interpersonal skills, strong verbal, listening and written communication

Strong understanding of the development process

Prior experience managing UX Designers is preferred
