This role operates within our Trade Yard and Drive Thru area and reports to the Drive Thru Manager. **A bit about the role** In this role you will need excellent team leadership skills, great communication skills, and a stellar customer service background. You'll be a natural problem solver who remains calm under pressure, always ready and willing to help customers, tradies, and team members alike. The successful applicant must have had previous experience in supervising a team and good product knowledge to assist our Trade and DIY customers. **Hours of work will be: Tuesday - Friday 10.30am - 7.00pm, Saturday 9.30am - 6.00pm** **A bit about you** Ideally the successful applicant will have: - Outstanding customer service skills - Experience leading a team with the ability to develop and mentor a diverse group - Ability to maximise team productivity - Ability to manage a varied and busy workload - Strong organisational skills, with the ability to think ahead and offer innovative solutions - General computer skills and understanding of administrative process - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills - Knowledge and understanding of health & safety systems/processes - Be physically fit as there will be prolonged walking and standing on concrete floors, manual handling and lifting - A full licence is preferred, as is a willingness to upskill and get your forklift endorsement If you feel this is the career opportunity that you have been looking for, that you can deliver what we seek and your values align with ours then please forward us your CV and Cover letter today. **Mitre 10 MEGA Petone is a drug and alcohol free workplace and successful applicants would be required to successfully under go pre-employment testing.
